I placed my order in early May and have been sitting at 3000 since mid July. I ordered a Z51 coupe, 2LT, NRB, Kalahari interior with suede seat inserts, 7 speed, Mag. ride, NPP, Nav, Black wheels, TTV, C2M dual roof package. To make matter worse I have been given the following TPW by the chat line over the last 4 weeks in this order 10/14, 10/21, No TPW but a delivery date of 10/18 and then today TPW of 10/16. I know they aren't reliable but it's still frustrating. This is my first corvette so it makes it a little more frustrating. It could be worse! I ordered a Inf JX35 for my wife last year and after it was built it sat in a qc hold from July till early November!

My understanding (correct me if I'm wrong) is that the exposed carbon fiber roof is on constraint currently. I'm not up on the roof code lingo, but that might be it if your code is for the clear-coated CF roof

Your order contains the C2M roof PKG which is made up for the C2Z and the CC3. The C2Z (carbon fiber) is on 100% restriction now. This may be the problem. The FAY was on restriction for quite awhile and when it came off restriction the C2Z went on restriction right about the same time. Unfortunately your order contains both of these items.

I hope this helps with getting a better picture of the situation.

I had a deposit in place for a vert in March.
Dealer called me Friday afternoon and said he was finally ready to accept my vert order [allocation of one vert], placed order Saturday, it is now at status 1100.
Waiting for independent verification of his allocation status.

Z51 w MagRide, Auto, Red Int, CF Roof...

While roof may have not been on constraint when I went to 3000, if there is a problem we might all be waiting until it is fixed.

Some have had their car built with CF roof, but no cars have been delivered yet. If there is a CF roof problem those cars already built could be held while cars with painted or clear roof could be released.

Not saying that is what is happening, but it is a possibility. I sure hope not.

Hell GM give me the painted roof give me back my $2000 and build my car. Simple one phone call to us the customer from the plant would fix the issue. Some would wait some like me would say build it.

Could be a lot worse. Mine is still stuck at 1100! I started another thread this morning and posted this and got some answers back:

I place an order at the dealership (#2 of 4 allocations) on June 25 and it showed "order placed" on July 2nd. I get a call this morning from the dealership and the guy says "your numbers up, but there is a constraint". "We can go now (build?), but you have to forgo the exposed carbon fiber roof with body color trim". I said "No, let the order ride, no change".
I checked today and it's still at "order placed" at the GM website.

As you can see Raider, your a lot better of than me and constraints don't effect you at this point I believe.

Gotta be the roof guys. I now don't even have a TPW according to the dealer and GM.
