I am in Anthem AZ, they were staying in a Hampton Inn. I will go back later today and stop back early in the a.m. I was on my way to my shop when I passed one on the road. On a hunch I drove over to the Dennys and the hotel and there they were. I got out and the guy with the white shirt said please don't take any pictures and i laughed.
Then he said please ESPECIALLY don't take any pictures of those! he was gesturing to the 2 cars with the man in a striped shirt getting into.

I feel I may be able to get more pics later or tomorrow.

Of course I was in my blacked out C6.

Hmmm - looks like:

- wide body/flares
- bigger hood bump/"window", maybe s/c?
- same wheels as Keeks CAD drawing
- hard to tell what the spoiler is

Almost looks like they have the base fenders on the cars with the wider wheels/tires sticking out the side and the front ride height jacked up some.

I don't get the "please don't take photos" BS from those guys. If you don't want that to happen, stay on the private GM tracks. Geez, if you're in public, EXPECT that to happen. Sometimes I think that they do all this as a form of PR, purposefully presenting an opportunity for the public to get some info here and there about the upcoming new car, while testing the car in the real world too.

It definitely has the same front splitter and wheels as the Jalopnik C7.

Mobil 1

Went back, guy with white shirt is rent a cop.
They got real sensitive when I got close to the last 2 cars again and I noticed the hood (looks supercharged to me) and one was running but was pretty quiet but the electric fan was pretty loud.

They covered the hood in a panic.

Looks like they also have front splitters, check out the rake on the nose camo.

Those wheels look like they are sticking out past the flares and the ride height is high. Mobil, thanks for the pics! Rent a cop will be on the lookout for your C6 maybe you can drive something else if you go back. LOL
