I secretly would like to see an over production of C7's as they did with the C6's. Allowed me to buy a new 2007 Z51 in late 2006 for almost 8k off MSRP....the C6 had only been for sale a couple years at that time. If history repeats and a "base" C7 can be had for 45kish I'll be all over it.
I don't think you are going to see that at all with C7's.
Don't forget, many of having been waiting for the C7 for 2 years now!
Not to mention the Overseas potential.

^ The President of GM was just recently interviewed (was posted on here) and to your point said emphatically, the old GM 'make as many as we can, shove em to dealers and give incentives & rebates to sell em' is GONE. No more PUSH manufacturing - now Dealer PULL manufacturing. Customer Cash Programs will range from $500 to $2500. And this across the entire GM portfolio, not just Corvette or Chevrolet.
Will it work - will it last - I guess time will tell.

just got this in an email;
"Rick, my wife just called me from BG where she tried unsuccessfully to get some pictures from the ground. She was stopped by the guard and not allowed to get to where she needed to be to get any pictures.
She did say she saw the transporters that were in my previous aerial picture and they are all empty. Which is what we have expected"

Seeing all that production of C7's accumulating on the lot at BG got me to thinking about numbers - cash numbers.
If the lot holds 1,400 cars, which I believe has been stated previously, and the C7's have an average MSRP of say $62,500, the full lot would have a combined value of $87 1/2 million dollars.
Cha Ching . . . . .

GM should actually be showing the sea of 7's waiting to ship for sales/marketing. Instagram and Tweet it too! Show the transporters loading and leaving to make every one visit dealerships to see them! It's not rocket science!
