Bolt pattern same as C6.

Offsets we don't know yet, AFAIK.

In one of the early videos one of the GM people said C6 wheels will fit. Obviously a very general statement lacking specifics.

Currently, talon90 is checking on add'l info, like will the base C7 wheels fit the Z51 C7. I don't know if he will get offsets too. Gotta wait and see.

One of my favorite wheels. Will look great on the C7.

I believe the only real issue is offsets. If they are even close to C6 there should be no problem finding wheels quickly.

Thanks, not being a perf guy, I can do without the z51 package if I get some new 19’s and 20’s.....I think the machined face burgs would be perfect.

Early spy shots show a C7 chassis under a C6 z07 body. The wheel base was longer and the offset was more negative maybe by an inch or so. So what ever after market C6 wheel you have, it will stick out that amount plus offset of the after market wheel. A stock C6 z06 wheel will probably look cool as it will be close to flush with the wheel arch judging by the arch overhang on the C7. They will never change the bolt pattern on a Vette.

Offset is also the same as the base (nonZ06/ZR1/GS) C6.

Non-Z51 wheels are going to be a problem on the Z51 due to mass dampers present fr noise reduction on the Z51 brakes.

Thanks for getting the info Paul.

The base C6 wheels, which talon90 just confirmed have the same offset as the C7 wheels, are:

Front 18 x 8.5, +56 mm offset
Rear 19 x 10, +79 mm offset

So you will want to find 19/20 wheels as close to those specs as poss.

The only C6 wheels in 19/20 are the ZR1's which have the same offset as Z06/GS, +40mm/+59 mm. Those offsets on a base C6, and now we know C7 too, will push the tire/wheel outside the body/fender.

I have a set of 10.5X18 and 12X18 CCWs that I'd love to use on a Z51 C7. Anyone know if they'll fit ?

Paul,

Can I mount Z51 C7 wheels on My Narrow Body C6? Can I use my old center caps? And do we know if the wheels are Forged (I think the Z51's are).

I like my C6, but I'd appreciate the larger wheels and the Pilot Super Sport ZP rubber from the C7 (I know base C7 wheel rubber fits stock C6 wheels, so I can get the rubber regardless).

From my wheel engineering days I would say the Z51 wheels do not lend themselves to the forging process by design. They are in all probability a cast wheel.

That was my thinking, but a lot of reviews say things like "Models with the Z51 package will wear even larger forged aluminum wheels ..."
