Default Who determines moving past 3000 status?

Hello Forum! Everyday as soon as I wake up I eagerly check my status on GM'ers list and everyday I continue to be stuck at 3000

I apologize if this has been gone over before but who determines moving past 3000 status? I am under the ASSUMPTION that once at a 3000 status it is out of the hands of the dealership and I am at the mercy of GM, BG & their internal scheduling. Is that the case or would it be a good idea to go babysit the sales managers kids and offer to mow his lawn? I say that half joking and half serious.

Thanks!

Honestly, you have been out of the hands of the dealership since they put the order in and you went to 1100. If the dealer has an available allocation you will move from 1100 to 2000. If the order doesn't have any items that are constrained you will move from 2000 to 2500 to 3000 fairly quickly. From that point on, it is all within GM and the assembly plant. Nothing your dealer can do for you at that point. The plant needs to sequence and schedule the orders, options and materials required to produce the car and it is an interesting ballet.

Your dealer should be able to get that information for you. There are a series of "Event Status Codes" that mark the various scheduling and production events that take place during the order cycle.

As they relate to the Chevrolet Order Tracking website.

Order placed will be 1100.
Queued for Production will be 3000.
Production Complete will be 3800
Shipped/Enroute to Dealer will be 4200
Vehicle At the Dealership will be 5000.

Here is the complete list of codes.

1000 Order On Hold at Dealership
1100 Order Placed at Dealership
2000 Order Accepted by Chevrolet
2050 Order Changed
2500 Order Preferenced (or "Picked Up" or "Imaged")
3000 Order Accepted by Production Control
3100 Order Available to be Sequenced
3300 Order Scheduled for Production
3400 Order Broadcast (Internal Plant Order Produced)
3800 Vehicle Produced
4000 Vehicle Available to Ship
4B00 Bayed
4150 Vehicle Invoiced
4200 Vehicle Shipped
4300 Intermediate Delivery
4800 Rail Ramp Unload
5000 Vehicle at Dealer

Thanks. I was just curious as to people posting specific codes since all we really have is the tracker at the website which is very generic in nature. I appreciate the help .

I've been at 3300 for some time. I was sure I'd move to 3400 today based on the talk of cars shipping, but no luck.

Default I know why I'm stuck at 3000!!

Watched a program when I got home frm our game in Indy. The plant in Bowling Green and the assembly of a Corvette. Had to back it up a couple of times but sure enough....... Somebody on that line was wearing a NE Patriots t shirt!!!! No love there for me! Mine might be made after all the Verts ordered before Christmas get out of the line.

Any idea of time schedule once it reaches 3100?
