Of course, it could just mean that the hi-po is NOT going to be called Z06. It could be a ZR1 or something else.

My guess is it'll be the Z07 (make sense) or the L-88. Unless of course they're leaving the L-88 moniker (recently renewed the trademark) for a new "super" Vette.

I took his comment to mean that they haven't talked about it publicly yet, so he couldn't comment. He did say "stay tuned". I don't think he was playing games with words and model names. Doesn't seem like that kind of guy.

Yes, it seemed like a pretty straight up answer to me.

Well I guess it depends on his definition of "we". "We" haven't discussed the Z06 or a Z06 drivetrain. Guess that could mean "we", i.e. us guys sitting around this table having coffee (and where are the usual mugs of brewskie, btw, that those guys usually have), or "we" could mean we, GM, haven't said anything publicly, or "we" GM guys haven't discussed it, period ("it" as a far a "Z06" it).

Interesting quote at about 15:20 "last run of the LS7... in it's current form" Hmmm... I wonder why would he add that "current form" bit at the end?

Cuz they'll re-use the name on a twin turbo V6 with hybrid drive on the C8.
