I know we are in the minority, (70% or so buying z51) - but what's your choice for the wheels out of the 3 avail? I can't decide
1. if I should get the basic silver and add aftermarlet wheels later, doing a 19 and 20 change....
2. get the machine face - but damn for what you get, they are a bit expensive...really can't find pics on here either at events....
3. Not a chrome guy...
so what are you doing, and why?
If you've seen the basic wheel, does it look ok?

Stock wheels. The aftermarket ones I bought for the C6 from LGMotorsports will fit just fine.

I'm going to run with the silver painted for awhile. I couldn't justify the extra cost for the others and still have wheels like everyone else. If I get tired of the base wheels down the road, then I'll look to the aftermarket to get something different.
(My car is Crystal Red.....if that matters.)

These wheels would look great on the C7... Razor sharp design just like the car.
They would look very good on Laguna Blue.

I totally agree with you, HREs are gorgeous. Expect to throw down about 2 grand a wheel and after all the options already bought, most of us would be into the 80+k range. I thought about em, and will wait. Besides I will need something every so often to add to the car .

I'd get the standard painted wheels with either the base or Z51 and wait until WCC comes out with their wheel exchange. Then I'd go with those which for one are a lot cheaper than ordering them and from my own experience the chrome plate job was way better...both on my C5 and my C6.

Hard for me to fathom not spending the money for the Z51 package. It really sets the car apart from the crowd. Same goes for the NPP. But as they always say "to each his own".

do oyu have a link for WCC?
and yes, the Z51 is a great price but I want softest ride possible and other than the wheels don't have a need for any of the upgrades:

But I'll probably hold on to my take offs so I can return the car to stock to sell. These are my favorites for now about $300 per wheel: TSW Machine Face Nurburgrings:

Many are ordering C7's with the experience they had with the C6. As the C7 autos go into service some of the options now being ordered will change. After all, GM tells us the C7 is totally new from the ground up. Now back to the original question, I am planning to order the base suspension with the standard silver wheels. I will trade the car for another wheel design when the time is right. Yes trade the car for improved/nicer wheels in a year or two. After operating the new car my option list probably will change as experience with the car improves.

No...not at all sure...but I'll find something like this design....I see lots of wheels being made to fit the C7 in a year or so. It's a huge market, I don't see the wheels being offered by Chev as being enuf for those of use that like to mod....
