I know the performance exhaust is a big seller, but I'm ok with the stock exhaust.
I prefer a more refined sound. NPP exhaust sounds too loud IMO. My C6 didn't have a performance exhaust and I thought it sounded great.

The NPP can be louder when you want it or quiet when you don't want it. It's selectable.

I agree with this thread. Save your money.
I have had two (2) C6 Corvettes with selectable exhuast, and I have replaced the exhaust actuators on these cars several times due to failure. Thankfully, each time it was covered under factory warranty.
The agressive sound is NOT worth the hassle or the money.

I'm sure your not the only one. I recall a couple people stating they thought the C6 system was a little loud for them too when the valves opened. Thats the beauty of this option though. If the loud guys want loud, they'll get it

Same here and I agree. My little LS2, and now LS3, sounds awesome to my ear when I put my foot in it. My first three cars, which I drove from 1970 to 1979 or so, all had small block Chevy V8 engines with glass pack/Cherry Bomb/Thrush mufflers so maybe that is one reason. Pretty sure my hearing has not become MORE acute over the past 40 years

I have no interest in the system either. I think it is a complicated solution vrs the alternatives. I have the NPP on a 13 GS, have the switch and NEVER use it because of the droan. Now on my C5 I had a Corsa with headers.....no droan and a much better sound.
Will do a Corsa on the C7 plus a bonus of 10 more HP!!!....
Each to their own.

The best enhancement I ever made to my C5 was upgrading to a Borla exhaust. The fact that the NPP exhaust will be able to be controlled is even better. I would absolutely make the NPP exhaust a must-have option.

It looks and sounds way better then the standard exhaust and you can make it louder/quieter when you want. Also gives you a few more ponies, not that you'll notice those but still its nice having them. What's not to like? For the price its a good deal.

To the OP, yes you are the only one.
