Someone posts a rumor and because it goes with what you wish for, you take it as gospil. Cant make this up.

Still, it is a rumor that he heard, that you are takibg as gospel due to your own bias Sam. Do you even know for sure he worked for GM? Do you know what he did for GM or when he retired? Did he say who told him the rumor and what their job in GM was?

At least keeks and a couple of others provided CAD pictures and other forms of evidence to back up the rumors they brought to the discussion past year.

Do not believe everything people tell you on the internet.

A few years ago that same person stated they were a "Chevy Sr. Service Advisor" that worked at a dealer. But don't rain on Sam's parade.

Why should I? The burden of proof is not on me Sam. I'm not the one spreading a rumor, nor am I the one acting like said rumor that someone else posted, is what will happen.

Hey Sam, my mail man's wife works for GM and she said the C7 Z06 is going to be front wheel drive with a 6cyl and 300hp.

Maybe I should spread that rumor and see if you buy it.

I think the word " Target" is an unfortunate term in these unsettled times.

Either way, it's getting PLENTY of positive reaction from people in our age group. You're the first person I've seen, in my age group, to come on here and state that you think the car misses the mark. My personal feeling is that such is explained by your ZR-1 ownership.

Nice car by the way. Not for me, but I *love* the youtube videos of the ZR-1 spanking a bunch of other cars in road races. Sounds great.

This is post #38. Other than stating that GM is going after a younger set, no where in the post does C7 4 ME say anything about changing the tail lights or the rear of the car.

Ive read the majority of this thread and i have to agree a little. Im not hot on the rear end myself but thats just mho. That said im not mad at anyone for their opinion. But dont knock the guy with a c5 cuz thats me too. I dont make much cuz im a cop, i work two Departments one full and one part time, and im workin on my bachelors too. I would love a c7 or a c6, but i love my c5 and Im proud to have it. Now that all said i wish gm woulda gone with this for the c7 cuz personally i like it better.

I liked it a lot better than the C7 too, I mean, if you are gonna go radically different, go radically different... but I also remember reading something somewhere about having to be 5'4" or shorter to fit in it...like literally...?

Looks awesome! Front and side profile looks fabulous. Rear fascia, I'm not crazy about but it does have round (not really, can't figure out what they are) lights!

Would have been nice if you'd provided a link to that thread. Your post implied the current thread.

It kind of cracks me up when people state they would never consider a C5 or C6 but love the C7. Really? To me it certainly looks like a vette. Sure the hood, taillights, a couple vents etc are different but but I just can't see it visually being so different you would love one and hate another generation.
