What do you think of this C7 set-up?

Hi All,
I am new member to this site but have been reading the forums on here for awhile. I am finally posting on here because I plan on ordering a C7 from Kerbeck because of their reputation and since I live in Delaware but I wanted to hear your thoughts of this C7 set-up:
1YX07 Stingray Coupe w/Z51
1LT Equipment Group
MEP 7 Speed Manual Transmission
G8G Arctic White (Ext)
19* Jet Black (Int)
Q7T Wheels, Z51 Black Aluminum
J6F Calipers, Red-Painted (Still not sure)
[/B]FE4 Magnetic Select Ride (Z51 Only) (Go back and forth with this option)
NPP Dual Mode Performance Exhaust
TTV Carbon Flash Spoiler & Mirrors (Z51 Only) (Still not sure)
This will be my first corvette and I am really excited! I have owned other sport cars/muscle cars in the past ('87 Monte Carlo SS,
'95 Trans Am, '96 Trans Am, '00 Camaro SS [Vert], '10 Camaro SS) but I have always wanted a vette... and felt like I always settled for the other sport cars due to their cheaper price. Now, at 42, I am finally ready and plan on ordering a C7 in January 2014 to have in time for the spring!!! So, what are your thoughts???

This is the same build I'm doing except my car is Black. Great build, and it's safely under 60K! 2LT is nice but it adds LOTS of weight, and to be honest the only thing I wanted from 2LT was the homelink and memory seats... so it's not worth the extra 4k+
Awesome Build!

Why so many fans of 2LT? Is it because you are all sweaty beasts and must have vented seats (I'm going to be living in a cooler climate otherwise I'd be excited for this option)? The bose upgrade is still bose and I'd swap my own system in right away anyway. I'm planning a black interior so interior color console and doors is no bonus. I've also heard people can't tell the difference between the 123LT leathers. Is 2LT different at all from 1LT? Then there's the heads up display, but that looks goofy to me, like an aftermarket toy.
Stick with 1LT!

If you want, once I get mine you can come over and take a look at it since I live in Bear too....White, exhaust, white top, 2LT, kalahari, red calipers. Stayed with the silver wheels (may get them powdercoated later)

Almost the same as mine, except I'm going black exterior and will powdercoat my calipers at a later date in Jetstream blue & getting MRC

Hey Kratos Bear! Welcome and Congratulations!
You can't go wrong with 2LT from a resale perspective. That is I believe you will have a larger pool of resale buyers that are specifically looking for 2LT or higher. You might even consider adding navigation for the same reason. Just my opinion from previous experience.
Everything else is right on!

Why worry about resale value? I've owned sports cars all my life, Vettes included and either way I wind up doing some sort of mods, i.e. my 707 RWHP Camaro ZLX. With my C7 purchase I plan on keeping it forever, maybe worry about selling it 25 years down the line as it won't be my DD. But as far as investments and autos, the best models are the first runs & the last runs, so either way he'll be good. 2LT & 3LT is just a bunch of unneeded creature comforts, as long as I have a Z51 and performance exhaust & MRC, my black Z51 wheels, I'm good to go until I add cam, supercharger, custom stereo (doesn't matter if it's Bose or Boston Acoustics, they all suck compared to a real system) whatever floats my boat.

I do live in Delaware. I was going to order from Kerbeck because of their rep on this site. I am familiar with Pike Creek.. I don't live far from there. Why did you order from Porter? What are all the specs that you ordered?

Thanks! though the 2LT has a lot of additional options... I mainly want to roll through those gears and enjoy the new speed If this was my daily driver, which it is not...I would lean more towards the 2lt. My dd is a Hyundai elantra! So, it will be like comparing apples to kumquats once I get behind this new machine!!!
