Default C7 zr1?

Any insight on whether or not GM is going to release a C7 ZR1?

Not really. C7R testing is the only real indication of anything so far.

Corvette will make at least one HP model, due next year.

Don't know if they will make two.

So GM may decide between a C7 Z06 and a ZR1?

That's been the source of a lot of discussion. C6 was the only gen in which a Z and ZR both appeared in the same generation, even tho the Z dates back to the C2 and the ZR back to the C3.

And the ZR appearing at all in C6 was kind of a fluke.

So most surmise we'll get one of them. Not sure which one.

They will build a ZR1. The question is will they finally put a Auto(F1) transmission in it as an option.

If they do, I hope they also keep an optional 7-Speed.
