I'll be putting the new plate on the frame which I did order, and hang it on the wall in the garage. I have never put the front plates on the car

I will be using the factory mount. State police will pull you over for it in MD. I've learned the hard way.

I thought TX changed its front plate law this year?

Factory mount option. It's nicely integrated now.

I always end up losing my front plate holder before the plates arrive from the DMV.

I go on military installations and if they see a California plate without the front plate, they will not only give you a ticket, but ban the car from post too.

Factory mount. I thought it was ridiculous to have to pay $75 for a decent mount for my C6, so I'm glad GM did it right this time.

No plate. NY requires one. I am prepared to pay.

It's criminal to put a bracket and a plate on the C7, just as it was to put one on the front of a CTS V.

Factory mount as well. I've had enough experience with being stopped not having one and don't choose to fight it. The single plate issue comes up every year at our state legislature and gets voted down due to the law enforcement lobby.

here in the revenue-happy state of Maryland, state troopers will actually drop a half-eaten doughnut and possibly even spill coffee in their frenzy to write you up for no front plate. A C7 in such condition would probably induce seizures. So sadly, it's one of those places where yes, you have a front plate and yes, it's on the car.

Sadly here in Calif they will ticket you for no plate. No matter how beautiful your car is. Got one on my previous Black CTS V and now I have a 2013 Red CTS V Coupe that I am just rolling the dice with. I hate ruining the look of the front end with a plate and bracket...pay and pay and pay...LOL
