Default New MotorAuthority review

Find it here.

For ***** and giggles, I'll just toss a piece of red meat into the flamewar pit here:
the Z51 package makes it almost--almost--as good as a C6 Z06

Still it's a very positive review once again.

The Z51 is "quite comfortable even over broken roads" according to these guys. The other review where they complained about ride must either have been a non MRC car or the reviewer was someone's granny . Every other review says it is decent.

Yes it is, and very thorough too, although for some odd reason he makes no mention of the autoblip feature when discussing the tranny - and he calls track mode "race mode".

Attention fellow C7 photo aficionados: attached to this review there is a great new library of fairly large shots of a LB Z51 (obviously GM productions, and some have had a bit too much pp applied, but several are really sweet). If anyone finds these in their full glory (2560 X 1600 or higher) post a link here - they would make great wallpaper.

What I got out of the article is you will love the car unless you are more interested in buying a foreign sports car thinking it will impress others more.

The badge is very important and truly a sign of my self worth. I like impressing people around me based on what I own. I'm taking a serious social status hit by buying a C7 It's a tough job, but someone's got to do it

Agreed. Must have been a non MRSC car in that review. The guys who order a Z51 without MRSC to save a few bucks, are going to get just what they deserve on roads that are not mainly smooth. A hard ride. Those who opt for the base car ( Non Z51/MRSC) will be missing out on big useful tech that the Z51/MRSC has. Seems to me, anything but Z51/MRSC is penny wise pound foolish and on resale, many of us wouldn't touch a C7 without it.

"That 60-mph mark will arrive in just 3.8 seconds (according to Chevy), but it feels like it might even be quicker on a grippy surface."

Rippin' of those better than 3.8 second 0-60 runs......that he says the car is capable of.

^ As photo-art it's terrific, as for capturing reality...not so much.
