Default Lots of C7 pics from ALMS

Took some pics from my cell while at ALMS this weekend up at Road America. I had a filtering issue on a lot of the earlier ones that I cleaned up later. It was also darker and rainy, so it was having a hard time with that as well.

They were even kind enough to crank and pop the hood.

I'm definitely getting one now.. I love the interior. It fits me perfectly -- 5'9 - 174lbs. The 7 speed manual is a lot of fun and I was able to just fly through 1-4 in the blink of an eye.

I will tell you that the rear visibility is noticeably different than my C6 and reminds me of my 5th gen Camaro.

Green with kalahari is more favored than the brownstone.

Stunning photos especially digging the green..

I believe that it aligns the driver and passenge temperature controls to be able to be controlled by the driver at the same temperature setting.

That would be HuggerOrange73.. I believe you might very well be the previous since I know he got it from PA.. Though, he would need to confirm it..

I have a couple rear pictures of the cars as well to show the full drastic tail difference with direct comparison, but I'd have to get his permission to show them since they show plates and such.

That non-carbon fiber dash really does look plain, doesn't it? The carbon fiber really completes the look and feel.

Also, looking at the silver C6 next to the C7, I have to lol @ people who say it doesn't look like a Corvette anymore. I know it's growing on people, but all the haters look more and more retarded by the day.

Just because the taillights aren't round anymore they say it's ugly. Lol, bunch of crybabies, the C7 is thoroughly a winner front to back, side to side, inside and out.

I drive a Mustang and am a Ford guy, and have always envied the Corvette, but now I'm just going to have to buy one. The C6 is a sweet car, but it never was so enticing that I just had to buy one. With the C7 it's different. I have to have one.

Coming from someone with no bias in corvette tradition, history of ownership or purist mentality, the C7 is far and away the best design to ever carry the Corvette name, taillights included.

Awesome pics, thanks for that!

Thanks for all the pics, it makes the wait more difficult, lol.
I really like the back of this car. IMO, they hit it just right. But the stripes on the silver car just look too busy.

HWiki - Thanks for posting the pictures. Very exciting time as many of us hit 3300 and 3400 in the past few days. What was your impression of the FAY Carbon Fiber interior trim? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the pictures! Very nice and you added some perspectives not seen before.

One caution about the ones showing the red interior (the hardest color to accurately show), that the red is actually identical to the picture below, not subdued as in the three pictures. There is a reason it is called Adrenaline Red.

IMHO the C7 interior is nicer than the C6, but still a bit underwhelming. I don't like that it resembles the C4. The front, side and 3/4 profiles are the nicest features of the car. The rear just doesn't work for me at all.

For the money, the base and Z51 versions are excellent choices for the sports car enthusiast. But, if and when GM does a ZR1 variant, they will need to make improvements to the interior and rear before the masses will drop $140K+. Most that can afford a new ZR1 type toy, can probably part with more dough to get something more exotic/refined. In order to sell more than 400-600 per year, the recipe has to change.

There will be a lot of stiff competition in the $150-200K range in the coming years. I'm really hoping hoping GM is up to the task.
