I would buy that color in a heart beat. It is definitely a "Top Shelf" pic.

too loud and vibrant for me. I really liked the Red Interior, but not with Laguna Blue

I had to really think hard about even going with Kalahari, but in the end, I thought that worked very well..

Default love it

i owned a 2002 electron blue/ torch red coupe for 10 years.
sold it last year to buy a grand sport convertible.
never regretted for one second owning the blue/red combination.
we all know Rick Conti will order one for sure.
can't wait to see the real images of this combination.

I had a 1996 Grand Sport convertible Blue with Torch Red interior and loved it. I have also had C5 Electron Blue/Torch Red. It it one of those color combos most people will hate until you see a real car in person. Then you say that is cool.

I saw the convertible at Kerbeck in October 2001 and almost bought it but I am handicapped and no longer can drive a stick so I bought the 2002 coupe in blue with red which is an A4. Still have that car. The vert was what I called the liberty edition. It was Electron Blue, Torch red interior with a white top. Couldn't get more patriotic. It seems that most of the 2002 Blue with red interiors were built around 09/11/2001. Mine was built 09/07/2001.

Pretty cool. I remember seeing an 02 Electron Blue C5 with Torch Red seats and a white top at Kerbeck back in 2001. It looked very much like your photoshop of the C7. I do remember it took a pretty big discount for Kerbeck to finally get that car to leave the showroom.
It's not for everyone. Great show car combo.

Absolutely stunning! Nice job!

This looks even better than the same color combo coupe I've ordered!

Since I'll be replacing a BMW convertible with the Stingray, I'm going for the C7 convertible. I've been drawn, in theory, to the Laguna Blue/ Adrenaline red color combination (partly because I like the colors and partly because they are my alma mater's school colors), but really had no idea what it would actually look like - a situation I wanted to resolve since it looks like the combo will require the added expense of a color combination override.

To help with that, I used the GM media photos and Photoshopped together, what I think is, a pretty good approximation of a Laguna Blue convertible with the Adrenaline Red interior.

I thought I'd pass this along, since it looks like I'm not the only person having similar problems finding decent photos of this color combo.

I also did a few other mockups of the blue/red combo as well as some approximations of the Laguna Blue with all the available top colors.

There are a few other images, as well as these, on my Flickr page in high-res, if any one wants to check them out.

Hope this helps someone else make up their mind on whether or not the RPO color override is worth the taste tax.

My choice would be to go with the black top, ad red calipers.

May I ask a favor,... can you Photoshop a black vert with a Kalahari interior and two different top versions - one black top , other Kalahari.

I swore I wouldn't buy a C7 until they build one that will outrun my C6ZO6, but if I saw that car in the showroom I might be in trouble.

If I decide I want a C7 over a C6Z, and GM does not make an orange available, I think I have to go w/this blue. I was all about yellow if no orange, but I am really digging the blue.

My only question is this, the red as shown in the photos above, is it the correct shade, for some reason I beleive the shade of red offered with the C7 is not as bright but much more of a brown or oxblood color, am I right on that?
