Some tourists from France were taking selfies by my car in Houston yesterday, so I let them sit it it to take better pictures. Who knew? Apparently Corvettes are rare exotic cars overseas. I seem to have made their day.

That's cool! You made their day! Now if I take a trip to Italy, I hope someone extends the same courtesy to me with their Ferrari and/or Lamborghini!

I thought about starting it so he could rev the engine... Things is if it was me in someones Corvette I am not sure I could resist the urge to drive it that beckons deep within ones sole. And I did not want to have to call Onstar to shutdown my vehicle while my cohorts laughed at me for being an idiot.
I had to unlock the vehicle multiple times as it kept setting the alarm because I had the FOB too far away.

Tourists in Houston? I'm guessing they're visiting family or friends.

Good job!
As an aside this is the first time I have seen a photo of a C7 with wheels that have brake dust- a touch of real life. It seems most poster clean their black wheels before they dare post a picture of the car.

I agree with the other posters. Vette's in other countries are pretty hard to come by. You've done better at foreign relations than the idiot's running this Country. They'll have a great story to tell when they get home.

I am an instructor for my company and I get mostly international students. I always drive the Vette to work at least one day and allow my students (mostly engineer types) to sit in it and take picture. They love it.
One day I had a small class come to my house for a Barbeque and I took each one of them for a short "spirited drive" in the country. They will be talking about that ride forever.
