Hey Lisa, not a real big surprise. To their credit, I did see somewhere along the line on one of the lists there was mention of the R8C and noting the BV4/CFX Personalized plaque together on the same line. I'm guessing it was easy to be confused.

Looking forward to it? Will this be an addition to the stable or are you going to part with anything? Feel free to contact me privately if you don't want to discuss it on the open forum.

If you have checked R8C you will get the opportunity to have your personalized plaque "personalized" the way you want it. It doesn't need to happen at the order stage. Once the car gets sequenced someone from the NCM will contact you or your dealer to get the information.

How can you change the plaque?

Ex. one thing that's holding me back is if I got my name on it, then later when it's time to sell, buyers would not want to drive a car with my name on it. Is it easily removable?

That is my question. I don't want my used car floating around out there with my name on it!

Do they give you a plane one to replace it or something?

Yes, they are easy to remove and on owner will be able to do it in his driveway (or garage) with simple hand tools.

cool, then does it look strange once it's removed - i mean can someone tell that something is missing there, are there any holes left for example.

Oh, you will have to replace it with something like the standard plaque. It will be very noticeable if it is removed and something isn't put back in it's place for sure.

I see, so maybe I can get one and then have the dealer replace it with a standard plaque when it's time to sell

That's what I'm planning to do. I'm going to pick up a standard plaque. I'm betting the next owner won't want my and my wife's name smack in the middle of the dash as they drive away.

No, but the NCM plaque removes 137.2 pounds (it is made from antigravitium).

I confirmed that with Shane when we discussed what I wanted on my NCM plaque personalization earlier today.

The thing you have to consider when you customize it with your name or whatever is resale, do I want your name on the car that you're selling me, probably not.

It is my understanding that the personalized plate is easily removed and can be replaced with a standard dash plate so it should not be an issue.

Not me, I'd rather lose the weight and be faster, than have an indestructible skeleton.

Great one. How about "built for M. Ballzitch" Or "built for Mike Hunt"
