Default 2010 or newer ZO6/427/ZR1 getting C7?

Just like it says, who currently owns a 2010 or newer ZO6/427 or ZR1 and will be ridding of that car for a C7? EDIT: Buy a base or Z51 now, not wait for a hi-po. Simple question I think.

Will get a 7 (will wait and see what the hi-po version and/or Callaway is all about).

But will keep the ZR, it's just too damned kick-*** to part with.

I'd smack you from here if you parted with your ZR. I have to edit my post, I meant buy a new C7 now not wait for a hi-po. Thanks!

Ahh. No, not now. I suspect there is more red meat coming.

Agreed. I'm curious to see how many higher end C6 owners will "part" with their rides for the C7, I'm guessing not many.

There might be some with coupes that want to try out a vert for their next vette. And some may do it just to have the newest thing, enjoy the new interior etc., and perhaps then trade/sell it for the hi-po version down the road.

Honestly I think a guy with a Z or a ZR that wanted a vert would have went for a 427. I hear your point though, let's see what kind of answers come in.

I thought the GS and C7 were too similar to include it which is why I didn't, but you're always welcome Sam.

I'm thinking very few guys will part with their hi end rides for a C7, not an exact science poll but...

No, not even a slim chance.

I will be picking up a 2013 Z06 shortly. I don't think I will pick up a C7. We'll see how the hi-po C7 plays out, but if it is very close in price to the base gen V Viper, I rather get the Viper.

I love the new C7, but I would not trade in my ZR1 (2010) for the base version. Not sure I would trade for the hi-po version either.

I would not even trade my 2013 GT500 for the base vette either.

2012 Z06 here. Zero chance. ... First new generation that has left me liking the previous generation more (been around for the C5 and C6 launch) My next vette will be a 96 GS or a 69 BB

I sold my 08 Z06 to buy a 2011 ZR1. Totally different cars in my opinion. I sold the ZR1 in March when i saw the intro of the C7 at the Auto Show in Jan. I found myself not needing the HP and for half the price, i'm getting an upgraded car that i can drive everyday but still have plenty of performance (and looks). I'm also tired of shifting gears. If GM would put an auto in the ZR like the ZL1 Camaro, i'd be the first in line.

Not a chance

I am waiting to see what the hi performance version will look like and still will not part with mine. I have an empty spot in the garage right next to it.

My '11 ZR isn't going anywhere. I've got way more invested in it than it's worth. Thus it's among the cars that will be left to my boys (ages 4 & 19 mos.). Having said that I'm patiently waiting to see what GM has up its sleeve. I'm hoping it's another kickass ZR.

If the hi po model doesn't appeal to me, I'm keeping my eye on the yet to be launched NSX and McLaren P13.

Not that it's a lot of responses but only one would/has parted with one of the models listed. I hope more responses come in.

I will keep my 2012 Z06, and will also acquire a C7, but will wait to see the full Corvette product line and for prices to go into discount mode before I make a decision on which one to purchase.

The 60th 427 Vert will have to stay.........now adding a C7, that's the plan.
