Fact, the ones that are doing the most moaning and whining about the C7 are C6 owners. The C7 is heads and tails a better car than the C6, put a SC in the C7 and I'd take it over a C6 ZR-1 any second of the week, hell I'd take a fully optioned C7 Z51 over a ZR-1 just as quick.

Deal with it C6 owners, the C7 is the wave of the future, like it or not it is a much better car, more so than the C6 was over the C5.

I find it rather sad when the majority of criticism are coming from c6 owners who are reluctant to realize, there are certain aspects of the C7 that are obviously better than their C6.

Of course, c7 are far from perfect but why should they be so worried about a car in which they have no interest in buying, to a point where the majority of the complaints are coming from the same minority that could otherwise spend their time enjoying the car they deemed so superior?

I really hated the way the C6 look, but I know well enough that there are others who thinks differently, and as such I respect their opinions by not stirring the pot continuously and post in their forums repeatedly of how ugly those headlights are.

Its fine if you dont like the c7 but if you hate it so much why put so much efforts to discredit it?

Like others have stated, the same trolls who frequent this section of the forums are the ones who really needs to move on. No matter how much you hated the C7 there are others who think differently enough that they already have one on order.

And to those that are lucky enough to have one coming in your driveway, from one corvette-enthusiast to another, enjoy your ride

Everyone has the right to their opinion. They do need the common sense to not use that right, just because they can.

With this emphatic statement, you must have driven one. What was it like?? According to C&D, the new Z51 C7 is 2/10 quicker to
60mph than a 2005 Z51 LS2 coupe. That's a very good improvement

Unsure why all the antics. It seems that the vast majority here are simply saying that all the negativity and dislike for the C7, especially from the C6 crowd, is duly noted. Everyone here understands that at least some smallish percentage of C6 owners, or people in general (1) dislike the back end, (2) had some super lofty HP expectation that isn't reached, (3) think the C7 looks like a C6.5, (4) think that Chevy is dumb to go after younger buyers, (5) think that the custom luggage offer along with the car is ridiculous, (6) are angry that the C7 isn't equipped with a toaster oven.

Fine. We have all heard the complaints - and every single regular on this board has made their preferences or dislikes, with respect to the C7, known to everyone else in the C7 forum. Everyone has listened, we've noted your complaints, and it's time to move on. The unveil of this car is far back in the rear-view mirror and this subforum is moving on into a different part of its lifespan, where the participants are ordering or have ordered their cars, and performance reviews are coming out with highly favorable information. It's becoming more and more borderline trolling for the anti-C7 crowd to make it a daily habit to post rotten eggs in here about how they think the car is ugly or not a big leap over the C6.

the way I see it, if you don't like the C7 why are you in the C7 section, go hang out in the C6 and discuss all the things that you like about your car, pretty simple actually.

I have a C5, I'm not spouting hatred towards the C7 which is a much better car than mine.....some people really have to lighten up, it's almost embarrassing to read some of these posts.

I have no doubt that it will be better in terms of tech and refinement. That's just the natural progression of things.

But that doesn't change the fact that the C7 is hideous, IMO.
