I used to do that when I was 16 or 17 years old. Then I learned the price of new tires.

The dealer's service rep says, "that a lot of time people need new back wheel by the time they get to there first oil change, with there first Vette". He looks at mine and says, "do you ever beat on this Vette"? I have never had the need to waste my rubber like that until it's time to change the rubber. When my tires do not pass inspection any more I will probably take it out and spin the wheels because they are going to be changed any ways. I have never turned of the traction control either.

Very nice, nothing like a tire smoking burnout, gets even better when you grab that next gear.

Ah to be 16 again, now I’m to frugal with the cost of new tires. To be honest I have never done a burn out in my vette....oh I’ve lost tracktion, but not to just smoke em up. 1st, 2nd, 3rd and fourth are challenging at 640rwhp...
