Sure would be nice to see a C7 Z06 that light, but the question is, how?
The C6Z lost its weight due to a frame that's 150 lbs lighter, along with other fancy, lighter materials (engine cradle, fenders, roof, floorboards, etc).
The C7 has already used up nearly every trick, meaning a Z06 is only going to ADD weight (bigger engine, tires, wider fenders, etc.)
Unless they have a carbon fibre frame, which I highly doubt at the Corvette's price level...

We have not seen titanium muffler since the C5 Z06.
