If that is the case, I will certainly be adding a C6 Z06 to the garage. I can't imagine such a successful model being dropped at this point. Hope this rumor is incorrect.

Looks like 4 exhaust pipes to me. The outside pipes are just much darker than the inside pipes.

I really don't think it will be the case but I think it would hilarious if they did put round taillights on the higher out out model.

Hope springs eternal!

Maybe you should have titles this, "Could this possibly be the Next ZR1".
You made this statement and have no real evidence of One that it is a ZR1 and Two that there will not be a Z06.

Here's something to keep in mind. It could be a regular old C7 prototype that nobody bothered to unmask (taking all the vinyl crap off). And regarding the exhaust note, it could have an exhaust leak because some dude blew out a gasket and the tech who was supposed to fix it was on vacation.

Don't over think it.

I pretty much agree with everyone else. Where is the evidence or proof? I hate it when people starts thread with misleading title.

That would be funny. All the lesser equipped C7 models would stick out very quickly.

Round tail lamps. I like it already. Not sure about the whole zebra-bag rear styling but if it throws the cops off the scent, why not. Where can I place my deposit?

I would enjoy the irony because there has been such a debate regarding shape of taillights. If this occurred, those that stated the stingray lights were the wave of the future and round was so outdated would be in an interesting position = that the base or stingray lights were better than the higher end models. I am sure it would stir up the pot.

Actually, I like the idea of two taillight design options. Didn't the first generation Camaro have a hidden headlight option? Why not offer classic taillights and new school option? It would do what many want which is to seperate lower and higher end models. It would also sell more C7s, and GM needs to sell cars.

The round lights that are being speculated are nothing more than the camo wrap. As for the car being an actual C7 Z testing, who knows? Too bad you can't get a view of the brakes and rotors.
