Default Are you 'cooling off' to the C6 because of the C7?

We've heard a lot of folks talk about selling/trading their C6 to get a C7. Is the C6 starting to look old and lame to you? Are you getting way more interested in getting rid of your C6 to get the C7 now?

TRUTH IS THAT I STILL LOVE MY C6 BUT MOSTLY I'M TOO CHEAP TO BUY A NEW CAR SO I'M WAITING FOR A USED C7!

It would be more appropriate to post this in the C6 section.

Of course, if you did that, you'd get slammed.

Maybe we need a poll about whether we are staring to look old and lame . . . .

I can tell you that about a month ago my plan was to pick up a C6 Z06 for cheap after the C7 Z06 variant was announced. That changed after I went to the Bloomington Gold show and saw the C7's on the ground with the other vettes. I found that by the end of the day I had no interest in looking at the widebody C6's whatsoever. I was completely obsessed with the C7, and was stunned at the quality of the interior. I had no problem ripping the interior out of my C5 and replacing it with racing equipment. I have too much respect for the C7 interior design to do so with it. I am now 100% sold on the C7

Yeah, we already had your names on that side of the list this morning in the planning meeting for this thread. We didn't have any bets going on it.

I still love my C6 but I have not seen a C7 in person yet. If it looks better in person, that could change....

I have no dog in this fight, yet...but I will admit that the C7 has the C6 looking better than ever right now. JMO

I'll get my spoon out! Yes! If the back looked like a Corvette and not a Clown car. Lincoln had a Town Car, now Chevy has a Clown car!

We have your name on the appropriate list and will update it only when something actually changes so no need for an update.
