That was just poor use of space, it was was too big of a space for the changer (should have been in a side cubby).

One of the first things I did was remove that thing.

Good point on the exhaust, I always thought the mufflers jammed up in the corners was odd, but my borla xr-1 ditched the mufflers so I didn't have that issue

Looking at the options sheet, I wonder if the C7 has no storage cubbies in the trunk if you get the 10 speaker stereo option with the "bass box". That would stink. I really like the storage in my C5. Its nice not having small stuff rolling around in the trunk.
