I did the yellow calipers with my CRT Z51.
Porsche uses yellow on the PCCB cars, and it looks pretty cool with any color so figured it would be a nice compromise.
The metallic gold on the GT-R's is cool too.

I used black calipers with my NRB car.. In some cases the color calipers do not fit in with the car. Rather hey stock out, if you know what I mean.. It is a matter of personal taste, I still would not mix reds. I would not put a red interior in a RMT body. Touch Red yes. Again it is personal taste.

In my estimation, the best stock Corvette produced, came with that combo!

I am with ya, ordered my CRT Z51 with Red Calipers and I think they look great. IMO they are in the same color family and don't clash
I guess next year they will need a full slate of caliper colors with a shade guide

I spent a few days deciding on red or black to go with CRT Z51. I decided on red calipers as the black would be hard to see.

I ordered CRT at first but changed to TR. I was told that all the pic showing the CRT are off a little and the color actually comes out a little more maroon than shown here. Anyone here that too?

I had an 08 CRM vert and in the sunlight it looked like the picture, almost like a candy apple red and in the shade it looked like a maroon.
I ordered my C7 in Torch red only for a change since I had CRM.

CRM with red calipers look like crap.

My GS is CRM and came with red calipers. They lasted about a week before I sent them to mike the powder coater and and them changed to CRM. Much better look.

Will try to post pics later.

Tell us how you really feel.
But I don't like the two shades of red either. So I went with a completely different caliper color that should really clash.

The picture actually supports the negative opinion of the two reds. A picture is worth a thousand words. IMO they look wrong.

I also think the red calipers look good. You want the brakes to stand out on a sports car. This is not a Cadillac.

Agree with you on keeping the brake calipers stock with a Crystal Red Tint Coat. Note: If you order a non-Z51 they are stock silver.

My reply to the original thread was to point out that a non-Z51 calipers are silver. My choice was to leave them silver. Completely up to the buyer.
