Look at the bottom of the rear quarter panel in front of the rear wheel on the black car where it sticks out behind the door.
Look at all the road grime built up on that area... That looks like an area that will NEED some clear wrap to protect the paint from damage from rocks and road debris flying up hitting the paint.

We inspected many CTF cars in June and they do all now have clear film protection. Is starts below the middle of the door and extends just above the lower peak line.

[QUOTE=jd_black_00;1584370314]I wonder why GM has a Bilstein truck in the parking lot...[/
Most C7's (if not all, as I am not sure if the combined Z-51 & MSRC cars also do), have Bilsteins.

It interesting when you compare a dark color side-by-side with a lighter color. Look at the silver car and note how every detail of the body shape can be easily seen; the sculptured shapes or "character lines" as body designers and model makers call them. On the black car, most of the character lines do not stand out and they get lost in the darkness.
Example: Compare the front end views at 0:20-0:25 and note the chin area on both cars. You see every detail with the silver...not so much on black.
Now, I love black cars and there's is an overall dramatic effect it has. Like the old song once said, "Black Cars at Night". But on the C7, I prefer a color that shows and highlights the beautiful shapes and curves of this car.
Then again, that only my take. There's a reason why they come in 10 different colors, just like there's a reason we all have different names.

By the way, the "road grime" is actually the reflection of the white line on the parking lot surface. If you'll notice it disappears when the camera angle changes. That's what shiney black cars do...they shine!

Silver usually bores me, but it works really, really well with the C7.

The side view of the black one at the beginning is sitting high off the wheels.

I've owned 2 Black Corvette's (C5 and C6). If I do get a c7, it's going to be black. I really like the look of the rear end on the black one. Even the tail lights look completely different. MRB was/is my second choice.
Thanks for the video!!!

Hey guys, Im Ryanheet, the publisher of this video. I really appreciate all the kind comments I'd like to point out that the side of the black C7 was actually scraped up, perhaps from testing. If you have any questions, feel free to let me know! Here are some pics:

Do not like the base wheels at all, very low rent and don't match the exotic looks of the C7. The Z51 option is a no brainer for so many reasons IMO.
