My dealer is small town Midwest - he has 3 coupe allocations and 1 convertible. I know that I won't be first in the country to get my c7 - and I'm fine with that. While I'm anxious for the car I'm also mature enough to be patient. No crap was pulled - he was straight up from day one and selling at MSRP. What more could I ask for?

I guess I'm at his mercy if I want one now. Any suggestions?
RUN! Then again if $5k is nothing to you so that you get one of the first C7's in the area then power to you. Make sure you wave to me LOL

I'm in at a decent amount under MSRP - #1 spot @ 3300

What the heck...I will throw this out there. Perhaps, sharing how much under MSRP and dealership name would be helpful to others interested in a C7.

I question the fact a dealer is are under MSRP for a C7, as the largest Corvette dealers in the U.S., with the bulk of allocation are at MSRP. That said, stranger things have happened.

Heck, the cost to dealer's to train and acquire the appropriate C7 service equipment is expensive. The smaller dealers who sign up for this, most end up passing on the cost to the first wave of C7 buyers.

I'm too old to care if I'm the first on my block with a C7.
I am now the only Vette owner on the block, and if I get a C7 next year at a nice discount, I'll still be the first on my block.

Looking at the forum the prices are starting to rise as the general public gets the itch for the Corvette. MSRP plus and they are getting it.

The thing is that the ones of us that want to see a C8 should be happy about this. If the C7 fails there is no guarantee that there will be a C8, so the people who truly love vettes need to support the C7. That way there there will be a C8 that can be the car they always wanted.

Rick hendrick of Atlanta has changed there rules and come back to all on preorder and told us $5000 over MSRP. I have wasted 40 days now on their stupid list to only be lied too. I hear many others got the news yesterday as well. They want the cars on the lot not presales. But Rick Conti at Coughlin got my back now. Hell I even use to be a hendrick motorsports fan now I hope they all crash.

That really sucks. Dealerships that don't treat repeat buyers with some sort of loyalty incentive (even if it means no markup) are crappy dealerships.

Yep. They're a business and they have employees to pay. After finding out how these dealerships often times struggle and start laying people off, I generally don't have a problem paying a little more over invoice. But I won't pay OVER MSRP. There's a reason it's called MSRP.

My dealership pissed me off this time around. This is likely be the last car I buy from them unless they offer me invoice.

Even "dealer invoice" is misleading. There are lots of spiffs, incentives, kickbacks, trips, freebies for the service and parts depts... "Dealer invoice" is NEVER, EVER EVER a no profit transaction. EVER.

MSRP from Kerbeck's in A.C. No fuss, no muss.

My guess is the only people who claim to be getting the car for less than MSRP are friends with the dealership owner or something. It pretty suspicious that the 1 or 2 people who claim to be getting less than MSRP never provide the name of the dealer.

I was the 1st of their orders
Who's the dealer you have your order with?

BS- there is no such thing as advertising fees. It's just extra profit for the dealer. Call it what it is.
