Anybody order "(DTW) Carbon Flash Hood Stripe".
I am assuming this is the "stinger" stripe that is shown on the
Blue Premier Edition....yes???

It is not a stinger stripe, look at a 67 427 vette....that is a stinger. The C7 has the Luggage stripe.

I tried, and my dealer never heard of the option. Looked it up on the GM site and could find it nowhere. Are we sure this "DTW" is real?

So the "DTW" is not the stripe from the Hood vents up to the windshield??

You are correct, the carbon flash painted vinal stripe that was shown on the premier edition car and other cars, as a factory available option. When I ordered my car in the first consensus it wasn't yet available. It is a dealer installed option, so I intend to order it through the parts department when it becomes available and have it installed afterwards. Some love it, some hate it, to each his own. I think it looks great on some colors and combinations, good luck.

It is not available on this consensus as well. I ordered mine on Friday and wanted to get the stripes but was told it is not available yet. I plan on ordering them through the parts dept also and getting them installed then.

It's not available yet??? GM is building 500 premier versions with the stripe and you say it's not available....???

He has to look further, my dealer at first could not find it either and hadn't even heard of it, then began opening various windows and documents then finally goes "oh here it is!"

If it isn't available for my car, my first stop after picking my car up at the dealer will be my painter to get it painted on.

I will have one painted on. Not into vinyl stripes on boats or cars - ultimately there will be an issue with an edge. Paint is pretty much "forever" - and that's fine by me.

I have the Premier Edition Flash Hood stripe, currently at Body Shop removing it and having it Painted on instead. I also am having it extended to the rear of the car.
