This was the point I was trying to make in my earlier post. I too was leaning towards CRM with a tan interior and tan top, but when I saw the Kalahari on the CG convertible I became concerned that as good as it looks in the coupe, the convertible will have too much Kalahari to look good. If you look at the Ferrari pics above, the yellow and the Kalahari interior look fine. But if you can envision that car as a convertible with that interior and the same color convertible top, I am just not sure it has the same wow factor as the coupe. I have only seen pics of two convertibles and that was the CG with Kalahari interior and top, which I think looks good, and the NRB with the blue top. So, I am now leaning towards Laguna Blue with grey interior and grey top. But to be honest, without the configurator up and running I feel like I am flying blind on this. I know I have some time for my order on a convertible, but am concerned that the first consensus on the convertibles will get called before the configurator is up and running.

Wow, I was hesitant about the kalahari and yellow, but these look great. I know its not kalahari, but its close enough.

I believe kalahari will look good with any color. I have to wait and see regarding the suede.

That is my general impression. I think the interior designers chose wisely this time. Sadly, way too many of the dealers will go with basic black and w/o the inserts.

I first said I thought the Kalahari would look best with neutral white or black. Now that I've had time to think I think it would also look BEST with the Lime Rock Green. A very classic color combination!

I remember seeing a few 1981 & 82s in Red with Camel interiors and thought they really looked good, possibly because it wasn't a combination you saw often.

As luck would have it, I say a 70s corvette with the tan interior at my local car show yesterday. It looked good. I am not worried now.

Yah, I think the designers did a great job coming up with Kalahari interior.

Now the problem is with which exterior color. And how t best match it on a Vert!

My first vette was a used yellow 1977 coupe that had a brown interior. The seats had a somewhat corduroy looking insert. I loved it so much that I bought a used 76 black coupe and redid the interior in the same brown from Ecklers--feedback was very positive on both.

If yours is the color of Kalahari maybe you have a diet issue.

As mentioned above I think the Kalahari interior works well with many of the exterior colors but only when getting non-black wheels.

This is the dilemma I have. I like the Kalahari interior but also want the carbon fiber (non body color) roof and black wheels. I don't think the Kalahari looks as good when you do this. In fact the only interior color that works well with this configuration is black or red in my opinion. I am not a fan of the red interior and black is a bit bland and doesn't give any contrast with the dashboard.
