Exactly what I was expecting, given I've owned multiple corvettes down the years, staring with the c4(I was 17 when I got a used 85 in 1993)

Yesterday's pictures showed a c6, clearly, the back end of those cars aren't even remotely similar , doesn't mater now, they are just teasing people, I like the new car but I won't even consider a base model anymore.

Since the C7 was designed for the under 30 crowd, why are they offering a "Retirement Home Edition"?

Could it be that those under 30 can't afford the car so they are desperately trying to hype it to the older guys; the ones they didn't want buying their C7.

I'm sure there is plenty of room back there for matching his and hers walkers custom fitted with serial number plaques that match the VIN of the car in the same color combo.
