Of those of you that have been fortunate enough to hit 3800 status; did any of you order the automatic transmission?

This was an eventful day.

This morning I watched the new owner drive away in my VY Z06.

An hour later I see that my VY Stingray #00570 hit 3800, 2 weeks after hitting 3400.

Thanks GM'er.

Vetteless, but not for long.

Good question.

I'd even be interested to know- what's the average time from 3300 to 3400?

Default Just wondering

My convertible order RGHGHM (from FL) says queued for production. Its a Lime Rock Green convertible w/Kalahari Top Z51, Magnetic Suspension, etc. Any ideas when they are going to start making convertibles? I am the first one from my dealership so I know it will be in the first batch, but i was told delivery around Christmas and i see convertibles in the back lot at Bowling Green.....

I believe they started accepting convertible orders last week. However my understanding is that, similar to the coupe, they want to determine the options most being ordered so they can optimize their supply chain.

GM has been pretty good on dates--- they said end of q3 for first coupe deliveries---- and they are going to be right on

Don't have any expectations that their statement that convertible deliveries will follow 4 to 5 months after coupe deliveries start will be missed

So late winter is probably a realistic expectation

Right time for those of us in colder regions -- OH --

Yes, VIN#240, placed order on May 29th. Finally hit 3800 on Aug. 30th! Torch Red 2LT, Jet Black Trim, Adrenaline Red Seats/console/Arm Rest/Automatic Trans., and RQ1-Wheels with Black/Machine-Faced Aluminum. The soon to be owner of my 2006 Red Vette patiently awaits as am I :-)

Convertibles on both Couglin and kerbeck order trackers are already @ 3000 status. These cars will start being built by the end of October would be a good estimate.

It was my understanding that the RQ1 wheels are Silver/Machine-Faced Aluminum ??

If they're black I wish I'd ordered them.

Default Convertible Queued For Production

GM'er thank you for all that you are doing.

I was surprised and pleased to see my order RFNN61 'Queued For Production' on the Chevy tracking system. Is there anything else you can tell me at this point; i.e. VIN, estimated week, etc. I am relocating this week about 1,250 miles but intend to fly back to pick it up the baby the day it arrives.

Thanxs again.
