Would you be satified with a base 1LT Coupe?

I don't like all the options other than z51 and MRC....so 1lt would be the preferred option. HUD can be installed later for 600 dollars ..
Heated and cooled seats are nice but not necessary...
Get the z51 and MRC though....
My c6 1lt z51 manual with NPP was very hot and easy to sell for quite a few years after I owned it. The depreciation was minimal as people was looking for the 1lt manual transmission z51...this time around I'd definitely opt for the MRC as I believe it will be extremely sought after as its truly the focal point of the design.....when tagged with the z51...
The five driver settings will be mentioned in every road test magazine as amazing when combined with the z51 and MRC...if you could swing the NPP that will also have a variable adjustment from the factory on each of the settings.
I know you want to save money yet I feel compelled to suggest the stretch if you can..
Otherwise ...the 51 grand c7 as it rolls out of the factory will still be an amazing value.
Think of it this way...when you lease any car..it doesn't matter which....the car itself is depreciated 50 % and the options are depreciated at 100% for a reason...
Options add something to the ownership experience ...just pick the ones that lend themselves to the focus of the vehicle.
I have always believed the z51 and now the MRC are pivotal for the c7..
Sorry for the rant...I'm just dreaming right along their with you.
Btw...I always pay in full over the past 35 years of buying cars unless its a subsidized lease for the bride so its not a question of money but rather I like to buy what I like ...and as nice as 2 or 3 lt s might be....it's just not for me..
Good luck have fun deciding. I've had cars with all the options and my last c6 is a z51 1lt and I don't miss the memory seats and all the other fluff..
I know if I didn't get the z51 and in the c7 the MRC I'd be within 6 months wishing I did..
Just shooting the breeze

Having experienced vented seats and HUD, and having driven two bought-new Corvettes for a dozen years, I would save my pennies until I could afford them.
But when I was young(er) and bought my first Corvette, I got a 1SA with nothing but Z51 and MN6 because I was NOT going to wait another year or risk getting talked out of it in favor of more "responsible" life choices. That car was epic.

Based on the options outlined in a previous post, about the only thing I'd miss in the 1LT would be the dimming mirror, and MAYBE the enhanced theft protection if it works. Almost everything else included in the 2LT and 3LT packages is useless to me.
So yeah, I'd be fine with a 1LT C7. Anyone want to start a collection for me?

Its all a matter of perspective. I'm aspiring to get a Corvette someday so for me, any Vette would be a dream come-true experience. If I were to insist on anything, for the time being, I'd really want the Z51 package and then any extras on top of that is icing.
Having said that, I can understand why there would be strong-held preferences if you are a veteran Vette owner. No one wants to down-grade and I'm sure if I were used to HUD, I wouldn't want to give it up either. ;-)
Best of hope for you in getting a sweet ride. ;-)

The C7 Coupe with 1LT has more standard equipment than the C6 1LT. At $51,995 it is a great value as is!
In addition to the C7's aluminum more rigid frame, carbon fiber hood and roof panel, additional HP and torque, 7 speed transmission with rev match. It has the following that were not standard on the C6:
Bluetooth, power telescopic steering wheel, rear back up camera, 8 way dual power seats, Bose 9 speaker stereo.
So my question...could you live with a base 1LT C7 Coupe?
I am thinking of going this route with maybe just a few options such as NPP exhaust and a Z51 dealer installed spoiler.

Sure, I could live with an 1LT. But, I would add Z51, Mag Ride and NPP. You know, put the money into the performance end of things. At least, GM is letting us choose between Black, Red or Gray seats with the 1LT.

A base C7 is better than anything else out there for anything close to the price range, and it is well equipped. It is a very fast, nice car. Yes, I would be very happy.
