Default interior upgrade question, am I alone

I like the new Corvette but I am not over joyed with the interior color scheme. The 3LT in Brownstone or Kalahari is killer, the red and grey are ok. But to me they missed the boat with the color schemes, the 2LT with the extra color on the console and armrests looks like an afterthought. I would like to see an option for an upgrade in the color theme without the added upgrades, ie; 3LT trim without the extra electronics, heated seats and other items. Back in 2001 I ordered a Z51 optioned targa with sport seats and grey trim, did not have to buy the "loss of memory " or anything else. So, my question is am I alone here or do others feel the same, that G.M. missed the boat in style but not in materials? Remember that I do LIKE the new car and am going to buy one, so just honest answers please.

I have to agree that the base interior, even with real materials, leaves something to be desired. In my opinion the dash pad should be interior colored even in the 1LT.

If your favorite interior color is jet black (as mine is) then you'll never be disappointed.

Someone even mentioned getting a 4LT interior in all black in another thread so that the only variations are the subtle differences in the textures of the various materials and finishes. Sounds classy to me.

The only thing I'm disappointed in is that the carbon fiber piece option only covers the little dash and center stack area. It doesn't continue down to the console which just looks unfinished like that.

Otherwise, I think the interior is fantastic and is the MAIN reason I sold my C5Z so quickly to buy the C7.

Does it bother anyone else that their is no option for carpet color on 3LT Kalahari. You have to use black kind of a bummer

Yes it does work, because the dash and carpet are black.

Actually, I asked for the lower dash to be in beige also but the order got screwed up. It think it would have looked better.

No... this.

Yes, shockingly the Italians can get paperwork wrong occasionally.
