I agree that value for the money is probably the most significant feature of all Corvettes, certainly not exclusive to the C7.

Most significant feature of the C7 over the C6, I would say is the aluminum chassis that is lighter, stronger and more rigid than before. This is a major component of the car that was previously exclusive to the C6 Z06/ZR1 variants and is now standard in the base C7, without raising the base price significantly. Think about it, it is a $80+k feature in a $50k sports car.

The runner ups, would be the DI LT1 with Z06-levels of torque, improved aerodynamics, fixed caliper Brembos and improved interior.

The question is: What's the killer app that makes someone want to buy a C7 at MSRP when you can buy a new C6 at a 10K and more discount?

The answer: styling and interior because all the other stuff, including the modest improvement in performance, isn't worth 10+ grand.

The only reason you won't is because it looks better and has a better interior.
+1 my thoughts exactly.

Forget the looks compared to a C6. That is subjective, just personal preference. What is most important to me is all the technology. That includes the aero, the differential, transmission changes, engine electronics, steering, stiff chassis, NPP not operated by vacuum, and the operation of the communication system including color heads up, and changes in GPS...,

Shack!

Performance wise (0-60) my 2004 C5Z06 isn't far off, so it's all in the looks, upgrades, and ammenities of which I'll max out the option list!
