Not that many ..............
I realize that we are but a small minority of the overall Corvette world. I am surprised at how few have actual orders in. Is this the result of G M's allocation system or as I suspect, because the changes are so radical, many are sitting out the first and possibly second year of production so as not to be a beta tester ?

You also need to remember that just because a car is released doesn't mean everyone who will eventually become an owner simply drops everything, sells their current car and upgrades immediately. People will trade in and upgrade in the normal course for them based on when they bought their current car, when it becomes less fun to drive, when personal finances allow, etc.

I was going to wait a few days to look at the total of orders but so far as Mikey said it's a lot smaller than I would have expected to see.
As for useless threads, well let's not go there!! LOL

I had the title on my 08 Coupe I just sold!
I don't need the dealer to do any financing for me on my C7!
Not everyone is in that position, so when the C7's hit the showrooms
they will be some that will use the dealer to trade & upgrade!

It is a useless thread. If you wanted to make it somewhat useful and were really interested in anything other than pissing on C7 buyers' legs, you'd go back and do your research on where C6 orders were at this point in 2004. Then at least you'd have something interesting to base your pissing on.

OX why would I do research from nine years ago? The economy was booming and it was a different world in every way when it came to spending.
How about your thread of is it an engine or a motor! Really must have taken some deep though to come up with that useful tidbit!
What I really need to research is what kind of meds would work for you, something that takes the sarcastic antagonistic being out of yourself!!

I just figured that there would be more responding to Big Dan's original question stating that they'd placed a deposit.

The better statement would be why are you even in this thread, it was designed for those who have orders in and you aren't one of them! I thought my initial post was pretty clear, but you had to come in and "****" on another thread for some unknown reason!
