Corvette Cake feat c7 logo, but has all gen's logo
So this weekend was the fourth annual Corvettte's on the Columbia show in Kennewick, WA where 200 corvette's showed up! All the proceeds went to Make A Wish (over $43,000 was raised).
As part of the hosting Corvette Club, I volunteered to make a cake for the event. The logos are all handmade and edible, including the C7 logo on top. C1 through C6 logos wrap around the entire bottom red tier.
So what do you think?

the aerial shot has not been posted online yet, but I'm sure I will have a copy on Monday from the monthly meeting and I'll post a reply with it then. Here's a couple pics of my modified C3 that was at the show though!
Got that brand new engine turned over for the first time at 2am yesterday morning so no time for cleaning, but I don't think anyone even noticed the dirt or missed the hood once they saw it and heard it.

Holy crap! That is one of the best car-themed cakes (or any cake) I have ever seen. Would you be able to make me something with the C7 emblem when I finally bring my baby home and ship it to NC? That cake rocks.

yes I made it at home. I am not a professional, but I really do like making cakes so for about the past 4 years I've dabbled in making them for friends. Anything I have learned about structure or tricks on working with cake, buttercream, and fondant I've learned from watching cake boss or online. I have never taken a class......unless you want to count that wilton class at Michael's I failed out of, lol. I'm currently going to school to be a Vet.

I don't even know the first thing about how to go about shipping a cake. The very thought of it scares the crap out of me that someone opens the box and all that's left is mush.

Now if you could just talk ANY Corvette owners into consuming anything other than absolutely necessary calories as part of their very strictly followed optimal fitness regime..... wait.....

I've never seen anything like that cake. Any professional baker would be envious.
If I wanted to have a cake made, exactly like that one, I'd probably have to pay about $400.00, maybe even more.
I just purchased a wedding cake, last year, that was not nearly as complex as yours, and about 1/2 the size, and the best price I got was $125.00.
