Which are you going with and why?

I went with the carbon fiber option because I don't like the plain look without it. I don't like the price, but I think I would regret not getting it.

I went without it because of the cost. Not worth $1,000 in my opinion. Looks a bit better, but overpriced.

I'm gonna go with the carbon to complete the looks of the interior since I'm doing the 3LT and the upper alcantara option.

I am going with CF, but it is the option that I have spent the most time second guessing myself on. Generally, I'm not a fan of reflective surfaces on my dash. Then there's the price. Finally, I think that the standard matte finish looks perfectly fine.

But in spite of all these misgivings, I still like the look & decided to splurge.

I'd go with it. Why not? It's only a 1,000. Pretty cool to have a dash that is wrapped in carbon fiber.

cf for me as well...the price was a bit of a hesitation but I'm sure I would kick myself latter if I didn't. I do like the look of it and ordered the roof in vis cf also.

Not for me, if it isn't real then its glued on, if you want carbon fiber then the whole dash should be carbon fiber. It looks fine but so does the matte finish. Not dishing those who are getting it, I personally don't feel that it is worth it.

I won't be ordering it, even though it's the real deal. It's not worth anywhere close to $1000 to me.

Standard equipment is a matte black finish that is the same on all hard surfaces throughout the interior (console, etc). It all matches. I won't pay $1000 only to end up with mis-matched finishes in my interior. It looks busy and wrong until they finish the job and replace all the matte black with CF, not just the dash facia.

Gtr's do it too. Looks great with the black parts of the dash as well. To each their own. CF is definitely pricey though.

I've seen both in person and I should mention that they are equally flat. The C7's real CF dash finish is very flat, not reflective like the phony CF used on C6 consoles.

If it were on all the mat finishes including console and it was finished like this part from Apsis I would have ordered it

I like cf. especially real cf. Real is real.
Now, with a new car and totally new style + .... I was thinking maybe a splash of color interstated into the cf. that would place the "wow" factor in the new gorgeous C7. Just a thought
