Silver Star Chevrolet in Thousand Oaks said they are selling C7s at MSRP.

Rydell Northridge is selling them for MSRP.

They want a $2,500 deposit. (FYI)

Also, I was number 9 on their list, and I won't be getting mine until December, so if you're looking to get yours sooner, Rydell likely won't be the best choice.

I live in So. Cal., but I'm geting mine through Tim Boone at Boardwalk Chevrolet in Redwood City (Bay Area). Their allocation will be about 10 per month as I understand it.

I have no idea how many are presently on their list, but it's worth a Call to Tim at (650) 568-5344. He is a forum vendor selling at MSRP with 1,000 refundable deposit.

FYI, Silver Star in T.O. told me in Febraury that a $5,000 deposit was required to get on their list.

He would be one of my closest dealers, but I sent him a PM in the Forum software and he never replied. Is he some guy that only works via phone from your experience? Odd.

And how much deposit did you have to put down?

Suzy,

I don't think he monitors the forum much. I would try phone or email (I don't have the email handy at the moment; will try to send later). His hours are a little strange. I think he's off weekends and in from noon to 8 weekdays. My deposit was $1,000, by credit card over email. The dealership is Boardwalk Chevrolet. Should be a forum vendor banner on the left somewhere. Glad to answer any other questions you have.

Guys and gals, please do NOT waste your time with anyone else, besides Tim Boone from Boardwalk Chevrolet in Redwood City. I have bought numerous C6's from him and other cars as well. I used to be in the car business, and Tim is the most honest and forthright person that I have ever done business with. He is often busy, so it is best to call him and leave a message on his cell phone. He does answer to emails as well. PM is not the best way to contact him, because he is alwasy super busy. He wears many hats at the dealership. Tell him that I referred you all, and he will take extra good care of anyone that wants a C7.

I have noted Tim's info. Thanks.

Hopefully, someone will have more info about SoCal for the OP!

Suzy, Tim is off on weekends, but if you email or call him, he will get back to you. Best buying experience ever, guaranteed. I am also not local (Central Cali.).
