16 Vettes and counting…..
Regardless of color, the C7 looks amazing with some better wheels.

Althoug) I really dig the lime rock green.......I'll probably go torch red/blk this time around.".
Stunning color the green...yet I tend to think it needs the 3lt bownstone or tan interior with suede option...along with the chrome z51 rims..
From the photos it really seems to pop and will be a classic combo

nerf delete
I like the way the nerf bar was photoshopped out of the grille.
I like the wheels too.
I sorta like this color, but black or a really dark color would help hide the cheap looking grille and the plasticy louvers in the hood.

I like it, not sure if I would order one as all 4 Vettes I've owned have been some shade of Blue. It is offered in Night Race Blue though, should match great with my NRB 13 Z06.

What does everyone think about the recent sighting of the green C7 in Texas?

Is it a color you'd like for your Vette?

When Isaw the hood, I had high hopes for the green on the C7. Now that I see the whole car, the green is weak. GM took the boring way out, yet again. Take a look at Lambo for how green should be done. They want this to be an exciting car that appeals to younger buyers, then make it exciting.

First off safe colors do suck but, and this is a big old ghetto booty but, the average age of Corvette owners is between 49 and 63, yeah it's a broad spectrum, I know. Most older folks don't want that neon orange, or lime green, or purple, etc. The safe colors are the colors that have been on cars for generations. For every yellow corvette I see, I will see 10 red ones, or silver ones, or blue ones. Hell I don't even remember the last time I've seen that purple that was on C5s. The initial rollout of the C7 will likely be purchased by older people as well, sure the base no frills C7 costs $52,000, but only the people who can barely make the monthly payments will likely go optionless. All told the C7 I want is $67,000 give or take and the only people I know who have that kind of money at my age are single, with no bills, and likely work as a professional. In this economy especially, the younger crowd will likely turn to the C6 at deep discounts for similar performance. We will see though. I do like that rendering of the Lime green though!

I'm old and I would have no problem with them offering some flashy colors. I doubt I would buy one because this car is just the one I'm going to have between the one I have now and the one I'm going to have after and flashy colors take longer to sell in my experience. There is certainly room enough to offer at least of few of them though and IMO the choice should be there for those who would want it.
As to this color I think green should either be a classic darker type such as the HRE wheel photoshopped pics or else a wild green. The neither here nor there greens don't work on sports cars for me. This is the color I'm most interested in seeing in person.
