Lime Rock Green in TX
#63
Gotta agree, the Limerock Green I thought was going to be pretty classy but it just didn't do much for me. I like the chocolate brown interior...that's kind of a color fad thing right now or last year anyway. Overall, it's a good looking car but seeing it in person at a car show with hundreds of other Vettes didn't make the "big" impact I thought it might. I took pics, stared at it...heard "Camaro taillights" a hundred times, listed to the BG plant Mgr and simply went back to my '13 GS just as happy. I don't think I'll really have a bug to change cars unless the driving reviews are super stellar.
It just looks like a cool new Vette to me but then again, so does the one I have so??
I think if I change cars it will have to be to something completely different or a big step up in C7 or it ain't worth it to me. Now, if I was just starting all over...yeah, I'd buy it.

So disappointing, the color selection for this car is just terrible. They need exotic vibrant colors. The camaro gets a bright green but not this?

Just got back for seeing it
I thought the car looked fantastic. Like many, I thought it was overstyled and too busy, but in person, it looks terrific. It looks good from just about every angle, which in my opinion, the C5 and C6 did not. I even like the back better than I thought I would.
I did like the green, and thought the interior color went very well with it. Probably not the color I would buy, but I do like it. The car was under the stands so the lack of sunlight made the interior hard to see really well.
I was there for quite a while, but the sales guy disappeared, and I never got to see the door or hood open, so I did not get near as good a look at the interior as I wanted. What I could see looked very nice. I suppose this was a 3LT?. Lots of leather. The top was off, and I would have liked to see it on to get a better feeling for the roofline.
Paint quality was unfortunately no better than the current cars.
I will buy one for sure when the prices get reasonable. It is a gorgeous design.

It's weird that people feel the need to be so abrasive. Perfectly happy folks are in here discussing whether or not they like the car, and some of our fellow forumers have even purchased the car in that config, but people need to come in here and talk it down.
Nothing wrong with saying it's not your favorite color, but when others are present who have just purchased that color - hauling off and calling it "crap" seems unwarranted.
I don't like green cars, but I actually like this color combo on this vette as pictured. Looks pretty slick and I even like the chrome wheels with that color combo.

Thank you and beautifully said!!!!! Someone will buy this color because they LOVE it, all the mean spirited hatred accomplishes nothing. Oh well, high school kids like something brighter...
I think the color looks great, I would not buy it because it (like black and NRB) would drive me crazy trying to keep them clean.

I have never understood this facination with these amazingly bright colors. You have a CORVETTE, that has plenty of "look at me" power, then you paint the thing lime green or something like it, and it just screams "look at me, because....well, LOOK AT ME". Lamborghini, which is the ultimate "look at me" car, styling wise, uses these colors, ad nauseum, and I literally laugh when I see one. One certainly never sees many Ferraris painted in these garish colors. Just my humble opinion.

I am about 90% sure I am going with night race blue but I will definitely take a look at this color in person first.

This color combo looks like something out of the early '70's. In other words, not good

And that is fair and fine. A lot of people would love to have that 1973 Corvette, however. My point is simply that not everything from the early 1970s can be classified as not looking good. I'll bet that model in a different color is something you would like the looks of. Right?

Color is terrible. Agree with others it should have been brighter lime green.
Looks like a 90s BMW.

I'm not a fan of the non chrome bumper C3's so it really wouldnt make a difference what color it is.
