I usually go to the Petit Le Man at Road Atlanta...in Oct.

I wonder if there will be a C7 in the Corvette Corral there this year.

People are pumped more, maybe ?, if haven't owned sports cars before. But for ones
that trade something every couple of years it gets harder and harder to get excited.

The pump deflates the minute you sign the papers, get in the car and drive off the lot.
Maybe realizing that if went back you just kissed 5-10 thousands dollars goodbye.
Yes your knight in shining amour C7 will be just the same, once they hand you the key
fob, you now have a used car.

Just like my 70K X5 brought a couple of days ago. The newness gone, new car
smell still there but its like, ok got a new suv, or ok a new corvette hummmm.

If you have nothing positive to add or simply wish to stir the pot and cause drama I suggest you find another section to post in....try Off Topic or PRC.

So, what would you have people do. Not spend their money? I spend money to get those things I have earned. Or I could just will it away to someone else. I love owning Corvettes.Corvettes bring me more pleasure then the money I spend..

What made you buy a $70k turtle vs a $25k Subaru Crosstrek or a car you could pay cash for daily duties?

Congrats! Be forewarned, though, once you go Vette you're hooked for life. I've been trying to talk myself into something less expensive, but Ive gotten so spoiled with my Corvette, I really can't get excited about other cars now.

I think staying stock makes a lot of sense but for those who enjoy modding ...good luck and. Have fun
AFM apparently is only on in Eco mode according to the mode selector matrix GM had at the bash.

Mods should be Cam and or Blower.

I'm good with a Jan 2014 deliver.
