Default What about Corvette emergencies?

OK, sorry if I missed this information...
This goes out to those who have seen one of these in person.

What has happened to our beloved emergency door opener? You know, the pull up lever that has been tucked between the driver's seat and sill of the driver's door? Is that still there or is there some new contraption?

Do we still have a keyed trunk? Bet we won't be able to find cheap Saturn key blanks for it this time around!

And how about the emergency door opener pull in the trunk area? Still there?

Similar system as the C6. There is a mechanical release on the floor by both seats.

Yes, there is still a key for the trunk/hatch release.

Thanks Paul.

I'm thinking there should be some cheapo NCM award for the first reported locking of a fob inside a C7!

Good decisions by GM, thanks for the info.

No personal knowledge, but I suspect it has already happened. The offender probably had to buy the beer that evening but the rest of us will never know...
