I wonder if that car is still sitting on the lot. Hopefully it is and nobody wants it.

I bought a brand new F430 spider and a month after I got it, my Dr said if I didn't have open heart surgery the next day, I would be dead in a week.
All the time in my rehab I just wanted to get back in that car and drive just around the block. About 2 weeks after the operation, I did just that. Believe me, that was really tough and hurt like hell.
But it was one of the best days of my life.
You never know what tomorrow will bring.

That is a wonderful story. Hope nothing like it happens again so you can put a million miles on your F12 in great health.

This was a great quote in the article! Things have changed!
"It creates too much controversy," Criswell says. "And consumers are so smart today, they'll be blogging and tweeting about what a jerk you are before they even drive off the lot."

This is the CF, so doubtless we could launch a 30 page debate on which is the best brand of leather cleaner and conditioner and which is best wax, but the most important thing is you pick a reputable brand and actually use it.
For paint protection, I have had 3M Venture Shield applied to the usual strategic places on my ZR1 and ZO6. The GS we just picked up will go to the shop as soon as we have time.
I use ICE quick mist spray wax for "quickie" wax applications - main advantage besides quick and easy is that it doesn't leave white residue all over trim and in crevices. And then I use Meguiar's carnuba wax when I have the time to lay down a thicker layer. Never use bath towels, always buff with a nice clean microfiber.
Never bought into all the Zaino hype. I might get flamed, but "Zaino people" annoyed me a decade ago... it was almost like they joined a cult. I'm sure it works just fine, but at car shows I'd be trying to talk about quarter mile times and power gains from certain mods, and these guys would still be talking Zaino, Zaino, Zaino for two hours.
Again, like taking care of your leather, it is more important that you buy a good solid product and actually get off your butt and use it rather than buy the most hyped product and let it gather dust on the shelf.

900 Chevy dealers, that sell 80% of the Corvettes sold, will get around 15,000-17,000 C7's within the first 6-7 months. That's a little over 1 C7 per dealer. LOL. The top fifty dealers will get around 5,000-6,000 C7's between them in the first production run.
