R8C has always been the RPO for the museum delivery and on the price sheet it has the R8C at $995.

When you get the R8C by itself, you get the plague from the museum in the mail to hang on the wall. If you buy the CFX, the plague is put in the car below the radio on the dash near the shifter. It also has the VIN number and your name on it.
They are two different packages....

I don't want my name on the plaque. Someone may see it and burn it. 
It's expensive but it's one of those once in a lifetime deals. I'm dying for a cross country trip. Seeing America on the open road in a brand new custom made Vette --- pretty amazing stuff.

R8C by itself is $495. Confirmed by Ken and Mike F. - R8C with CFX is $995. (CFX is the plague for the dash)

Reason, no one would get the plaque. They priced the delivery out of desirability. If you purchase from a forum dealer it is cheaper to have the car shipped. Price change pending???
