Seems like "double dipping"
Been in the hobby since museum delivery started...... my understanding.... and I guess if I where one of them I'd understand..... Union Truckers get paid if they haul the car or not. Not sure where that "unearned" money goes, maybe the pension plan but that has been my understanding.

Base price is solid. Options get pricy quick. Low 70s for loaded Z51. About 8k more than I paid in 06 for my loaded Z-06.

The C7 Z will be pushing 100k with ease.

Not understanding the deal with the removable roof options (Coupe). My question really is: the cars come standard with the removable roof as today, correct?

Otherwise, this pricing is a really nice surprise. I am also very happy that the microsuede can be ordered as a separate option. That is really cool and it will make all the difference in keeping the driver in place. Probably not likely to get a base / Z51 car, but we'll see...

The Z51 pricing is a screaming deal given the content

I would agree this seems like the silliest option. I'm not even sure why they offered it.

Yes... all coupes are targa so the roof panel they come with is removable. You can order the dual roof package same as with the C5 and C6 where you have the painted and tinted/transparent top.

Indulging one's ego costs $$$$$. GM probably figures they can cash in on those who are so "driven"...................

40 years from now it will probably be advertised as a "one of one" VIN.

It's the same price as it has been for the last two years.

It's offered for the customer that has to have a specific VIN. Example, someone owns a '54 Corvette with a VIN that ends in 3062 and he wants a 2014, 60 years later, with the same VIN to match.

Well is is cheaper then the million paid for 001..

I can not see why there is any need to buy 3LT. The cost is a lot higher then 2LT and there is very little extra content. But I may change my mind...

So much is happening so fast..

The Museum Delivery cars ARE loaded on a truck and delivered to the Museum (about 1.5 miles).

So if you are getting black interior is it worth the $8005 extra to go to the 3LT vs just getting the 2LT and adding Nav for $795?

R8C Corvette Museum Delivery w/Interior Plaque Includes CFX (Plaque) $990.00

What is CFX?

Why the $500 increase?
(Must be a spectacular Plaque)

I am curious what the base seats are like. You need the 2LT to get the performance seats, and the competition seats are an extra cost option above that. So.... are the base seats similar to the 2013's? All I am really looking for is some lumbar support. If they at least have that, I would be silly happy with a car just like my current 2011 is... Arctic White/black interior... NO options. $51,000!!!

That is one price that hasn't changed with the new generation. Some options you can provide and will be overlooked by most like AWD!

Don't overlook the most desirable option of all. It has not increased in price over the C6 or the C5.

The front license plate bracket for $15. What a deal!!!!!!
