However what has happened in the past there will be a price increase of about $1500 come November. This has always happened.

Anyone who complains about the price with the options piled up (a'la Porsche) should look at what you're getting in comparison with other sports cars in the same price range. A reasonably optioned Stingray out the door for about $60-65000? You can't beat that at any price. The Corvette inches more upscale with each iteration yet remains affordable to most working folk. It's the deal of the decade.

Love the pricing. I was a bit scared that they would rack up pricing. The base car at that price is decent. Still, I want mine with the Z51 package!! These are great news!!!

If you want one that has the interior that many on this and other boards have crushed the C6 for not having pay the 8k for 3LT and the 4k for the other stuff. I do not think anyone can complain about this price structure.
I dont disagree but I wouldnt even go LOOK at a C6 so they aint that great....

Thought the base price included the destination fee?? per:
DETROIT –The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray coupe will have a suggested starting retail price of $51,995, and the Corvette Stingray Convertible will start at $56,995. Both prices include a $995 destination fee, but exclude tax, title, and license.

hmmm guess you are right.. even better.. makes it 71,215... might spring for the suede interior accents then

i just saw it on the price list and thought since the destination was listed separately for a reason

You can have a 427 vert' for the price of a loaded C7. THATS a tough choice.

There's a Chevy Cruze for you at the local dealer.
The brand does NOT matter. It's the engineering, technology, packaging, performance, looks,... that count. Based on these criteria, the Stingray is world class.

Except that even a fully loaded C7's MSRP still looks better than the base price of just about any Porsche.

Also, was this not similarly the case for the C6? If you load up a C6 with the 4LT, magnetic ride, NPP, etc, etc, you get to a good 30% over the base price...

The $53,800 for a Z51 car does not reflect the $995 D&D.
The base of $51,995 includes it, add $2,800 for the Z51, so $54,795 with D&D and $53,800 without.

I was curious when we saw the first few threads why GM wasn't showing pricing with the Stingray and Stingray Z51, as it appears to be in the Order Guide, but instead just a base with a Z51 option.
