Default 1100 - Preliminary Order Accepted

1YX07 - Corvette:Stingray Coupe with Z51
G7J: Lime Rock Green Metallic
MEL: Trans, 7-Speed Manual with Z51 ratios
3LT: Package: 3LT
556: Trim, Suede, Jet Black / Brownstone
FAY: Trim Interior, Carbon Fiber
Q7E: Wheels, Black Painted Aluminum 19" FRT 20" RR
J6F: Calipers, Red-painted
FE4: Magnetic Selective Ride Control
NPP: Exhaust: Dual Mode, Performance
V8X: LPO, Custom Sill Plates with Stingray Logo
VRS: LPO, Cargo Shade with Logo
VYW: LPO, Floor Mats Carpeted with Stingray Logo

1YX07 Corvette Stingray Coupe w/ Z51 $53,800.00
G7J Lime Rock Green Metallic $495.00
3LT Preferred Equipment Group 1Y*07/1Y*67 $8,005.00
IL6 Sueded Microfiber Seat Inserts &3LT $395.00
FAY Carbon Fiber Interior Appearance Package &2LT/3LT $995.00
Q7T Black Painted Aluminum Wheels 1YX*7 only $495.00
J6F Red Brake Calipers $595.00
NPP Exhaust System Performance $1,195.00
FE4 Magnetic Selective Ride Control w/ PTM 1YX*7 only $1,795.00
Destination Charge $995

That comes to $68,765 which is over my target of no more than $65,000.

Edit: I changed the wheel option, but decided everything else has to stay.

Edit: Deleted IWE option after learning that Brownstone comes with suede on the dash, doors, and console, and that IWE has nothing to do with it.

Between the wheels and deleting IWE, I cut the price by $2495, which makes it more doable. Getting it down to 65K would require some significant compromises that I don't think I'd like in the long run, so I'll go with this configuration.

Edit: After seeing the pictures of the Lime Rock Green car at the Texas Motor Speedway, I decided that the red calipers would be a nice accent.

Gonna be pretty cool, and unique. The Green/Brownstone combo should go great! Can't wait to see the green in person.

Added IWE Sueded Microfiber-Wrapped Upper Interior Trim Package after learning that with Brownstone, the upper dash is also covered. I think it looks better with the suede option.

I may have to rethink things if this costs too much.

Yeah... but in a good way. The base prices of these cars are $5k cheaper than expected. You've spec'd out a loaded car with lots of bells/whistles. Even loaded up it's still well below the base price of a Porsche 911 with better performance to boot.

Sticker shock? What did you think the car was gonna cost, 5 bucks. The pricing is dirt cheap. I don't know what you were expecting.

Yes, as to the price of red calipers. $595 to paint them red instead of black. What type of paint are they using? The base price of the car looks good. The price of options though should have some relationship to the increased costs to GM. This looks like 99% profit.

These are the little money makers GM likes to stick it to us with. Black paint and red paint cost exactly the same except at GM. You have to be careful with all the pfoof options like fake suede this or that and paying more for one paint or the other just secret money makers for GM.

This is the same price this option has been for the last 2 years. I have yellow calipers on my 2012 GS, and it was a $595 option then as well.
