There's another thread going asking for pics of the C7 without the Z51 spoiler. I think the car looks MUCH better without the Z51 spoiler. I will order my convertible with Z51/F55, I hope we have the option of "spoiler delete", or maybe the spoiler is dealer installed during PDI (not holding my breath on either option, however).

I doubt it's dealer-installed -- the factory probably has a template device to get the spoiler placed exactly right.

I disagree. What shows as an available option on all trim levels only available with Z51 is "Carbon Flash painted Spoiler and Mirrors (requires Z51 Performace Package)".

The carbon flash painted spoiler is only available on the Z51 because the spoiler is only on the Z51.

Agree. You can only get it on the Z51 but not required and not part of the Z51 package. Maybe I'm looking at a different listing then you?

In the narrative in the Sales Guide (before the list of standard/optional equipment), there is a paragraph on the Z51 option. It make mention of the option including a unique Aero Package that increases downforce. To me, that is the spoiler. I haven't seen any other aero differences between Z51 and non-Z51 cars photographed thus far.

Z51 includes a body-color full-width spoiler.
If you select Z51, you can then also select the substitution of a carbon flash metallic full-width spoiler and mirrors.

In the equip list they show the Z51 package and list all items. Below that they list available equipment. Some of these items, spoiler, F55, etc. are avail but only for the Z51, but does that mean you must get them? I can not explain the narrative, I saw it also.

If the spoiler was part of the Z51 pkg why is it not shown in the pkg list? A similar q is on the F55. I know if I want it I must order a Z51 but can I get a Z51 w/o the F55?

On a sidenote, a chevy rep at the C7 Peterson debut said body colored rear valance will be an option for the Z51. Guess we'll find out monday..
