Your avatar shows Hennessy XO, why not Paradis?

I have to be honest, I've noticed this trend as well.

Feel free to do an IP Check, we barely have enough time to check this forum, much less do that.

I'll ask you directly, let me know what they found. Let me also point out that 90% of our Vette upgrades come with a 3 Year / 36,000 mile warranty, so not really sure why they would be at another shop. Look forward to hearing a reply to this. In this modern day and age, nobody would ever make a post with made-up information hoping they didn't get asked any detailed information to validate their claim.

I'm pretty sure that's what he meant. Rick is getting vin#001. So that will be the first one. Whether he gets delivered first or not, is another question. Even if he does pick it up.

Rick does not have the car...,when they build cars with serial numbers he gets the first..
I guess paying a Million Dollars plus for charity is a good thing for everybody.

I can guarantee that I'll be the very first one to get a new C7 on my block.

Any questions?

I agree unless, of course, you live down the street from me...

I can positively state, with absolute categorical certainty, that I won't be the first purchaser of a C7.

I would like to be, as I think the car is fabulous, but, barring a huge lottery win, and if I live long enough, I think the C7 I will buy will be 8+ years old, and I will be taking delivery while everyone else is discussing the C8.

I just can't see paying sticker or sticker+ for the first ones rolling off the line. $10k discounts are only 24 months away.

Exactly!! Why would anyone want to pay sticker or over sticker just to be the first one on the block with a C7??

Then when they roll out the better model you're going to get bent over again when you go to trade in your 1 year old C7.

My C7 order story: I've contacted my local dealer that happens to be the largest Corvette dealer in the Carolinas. My salesperson, a woman who owns a C4 herself, has given me the following information: I am first on her list. She called me the other day and said that although they are not taking deposits, I am first on her list and although they will not know how many Corvettes they are allocated until September she will call me then and discuss ordering. That is good enough for me. I am hoping to get my Stingray convertible sometime between September and spring of 2014. I have purchased two Corvettes from them already and am certain I will purchase my next one there.
