Default For fun talk to a salesman

They are so stupid or just full of BS.

Took lemon buy the selling dealer today. No help, they have
no idea about the gremlin inside

Anyway

While waiting this salesman was trying to sell me a ZR1 or a 427
LOL LOL

Said no, already have a C6, If even a far off maybe would be a C7

Well here comes the chit.

Told me each LT1 will be hand built. You can even have it
custom built to your specifications. Even get a special name
and number on your engine. You know you can even pick it
up at the factory.

I went didn't know that. But will wait to see the 7 convertible.
OH he went they are going to be all introduced at the same
time. gm wants to get all its models out there fast. The owner
loves vettes why he keeps a vast inventory of them. So he will
have the most selection around,

The other salesmen standing around had to be laughing at the
BS. If were to buy another vette it would not be from blow hard

A lot of salesman are clueless, just a job to most of them, they learn what's needed for the new cars features and used cars are just used cars

Worst one I had was a woman at Carmax who was either sleep deprived or high, they were overpriced anyway so I left and went to Penske Chevy dealer for my truck purchase.

She said let me get you a trade in quote on your C5, $5000, yeah right, screw them idiots

Amazing how many car salesman have no clue about the car they are selling, and then they wonder why they are not doing well despite having made a good appearance with nice clothes. Might work with cheaper cars, but as the vehicle gets more expensive, the buyer tends to be more sophisticated.

Talking to typical car salesmen is simply too painful. I'd rather buy a car off the web.

Many of them really are clueless. Many dont know the product.

To get real vette info. talk to a well known larger Corvette dealer or specialty Corvette dealer like Mike or a few other forum dealers.

Many of the local salesmen here just go from lot to lot and dont know a thing about the product. One guy even told me "its nothing but a hustle. he said he just makes it up as he go's".

There's a grain of truth to everything he said. Put it through the "didn't memorize every detail" filter and it's almost reasonable.

Dry-sump LT1s could get hand-built; all engines have a number on them; today hand-built engines get tagged by the builder; Museum Delivery is right across the street from the factory; the convertible is being released in the same model year as the targa.

There has got to be a law the prevents salesmen from completely lying out their *** in order to waste your time and coax you into buying something you are not actually going to get.

That is a creepy avatar photo sir. What is that? Honestly, I get an uneasy feeling when looking at that.
